We have now settled into our new office in Newmarket. The new office is part of a shared office space provided by Regus – we have our own lockable office on a floor with several other organisations and shared common facilities. Regus takes care of all the overheads (electricity, wifi, cleaning, etc). The set up is much more efficient – saving us around $25,000 per year.
But the real benefit comes from a new way of working that the Regus office helps us to unlock. Regus has around 4000 offices worldwide and now we can access any of them. So if the BARNZ team is in Wellington, Christchurch, Sydney, Singapore or even at Auckland Airport (Quad 7) we will have an office we can use. When combined with our cloud-based IT system, this will make us more mobile and productive and cut down on unnecessary travel.
Feel free to visit us in the new office (Level 2, 6 Clayton Street, Newmarket, Auckland 1023), but you can expect to see us at the airport and elsewhere as we use whichever Regus office space is most convenient on the day.
