At our General Meeting on Tuesday 25 February,  BARNZ welcomed on board our new president, Leanne Geraghty, Group General Manager Airports at Air New Zealand. We’re delighted to have her on the team as she brings with her a wealth of domestic and international airline industry knowledge and experience.

Leanne joined Air New Zealand in 2004, having commenced her career with Shell Oil and then going on to hold a number of senior sales roles spanning fifteen years within the Australian travel industry. She has extensive experience in sales and operational leadership, and business transformation. Her previous roles within Air New Zealand include Regional General Manager Sales – New Zealand and Pacific, and General Manager Australia. Leanne has a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of New South Wales and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course. Most recently she studied at IMD Business School Lausanne, where she completed an Advanced Management Program. She has served as the Chair of BARA and on the Aviation Panel of TTF Australia.
